PA12 is a polyamide with lower moisture absorption compared to PA6. More dimensionally stable and less prone to warping. Suitable for functional prototypes and production parts with moderate mechanical loads.

Recommendation

Use the Protype FILO drying chamber for automatic filament drying and direct feed into the printer. This prevents re-absorption of moisture and ensures consistent print quality.

⚠ Insufficiently dried filament is the primary cause of defects: bubbles, delamination, and degraded mechanical properties. Always dry before printing.
