ABS is an engineering plastic with good impact, heat, and chemical resistance. Large ABS parts are printed in a heated chamber to prevent delamination.

Recommendation

The Protype FILO drying cabinet dries filament and feeds it straight into the printer, so it does not pick up moisture again.

⚠ Damp filament causes bubbles and delamination and weakens the part. Dry filament before printing.
