PA6 (Nylon 6) is an engineering polymer with high wear resistance and strength. Excellent for parts subjected to friction and mechanical loads: gears, bushings, guides. Hygroscopic — pre-drying is critically important.

Recommendation
Use the Protype FILO drying chamber for automatic filament drying and direct feed into the printer. This prevents re-absorption of moisture and ensures consistent print quality.
⚠ Insufficiently dried filament is the primary cause of defects: bubbles, delamination, and degraded mechanical properties. Always dry before printing.
