Polysulfone (PSU)

PSU is a high-temperature polymer with an operating temperature up to 180°C. Excellent chemical resistance, flame retardancy, and sterilizability. Used in medical, aerospace, and food processing equipment. Requires a CD400HT-class printer.

Recommendation

Use the Protype FILO drying chamber for automatic filament drying and direct feed into the printer. This prevents re-absorption of moisture and ensures consistent print quality.

Insufficiently dried filament is the primary cause of defects: bubbles, delamination, and degraded mechanical properties. Always dry before printing.
